Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reveald ("the Service"), operated by WorklineIQ ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Reveald is a client portal platform for freelance designers. The Service provides watermarked file previews, revision tracking, change request management, in-portal messaging, invoicing, and payment-gated file delivery. Freelancers may connect their own Stripe account to accept payments directly from their clients through the Service.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. Client portal visitors do not create accounts — they access portals via a unique link and PIN set by the freelancer.

4. Plans and Billing

Reveald offers a Free plan (limited to 1 client portal) and a Pro plan ($15/month) with unlimited portals and additional features. Pro plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Stripe Connect and Payments

Freelancers may connect their own Stripe account ("Connected Account") to receive payments from their clients directly through the Service. By connecting your Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

Reveald charges a platform fee of 2.5% on each client payment processed through the Service. This fee is deducted automatically by Stripe before funds are deposited to the freelancer's account. Reveald does not hold, store, or manage client funds at any time — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Freelancers who do not connect a Stripe account may still use all other features of the Service. In this case, invoices are informational only and the freelancer is responsible for collecting payment through their own means.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all files, images, and content you upload to Reveald. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service (including generating watermarked previews). You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must ensure you have the right to use and distribute it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Upload illegal, obscene, defamatory, or harmful content
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits
• Attempt to brute-force or bypass portal PIN authentication

8. Contract Templates

Reveald provides a generic freelance contract template for convenience when creating client portals. This template does not constitute legal advice and is not a substitute for professional legal counsel. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified attorney to ensure any contract meets your specific needs and complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Reveald is not responsible for any disputes arising from the use of these templates.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reveald, WorklineIQ, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
